I have had friends lose their teenage kids because of texting or talking on the phone while driving, send a message to them when you can’t be with them with a phone cover, when they pick up their phone to text while driving it would be like you are there telling them to put it down. iPhone 5 cases are only $21.99 , less than a tank of gas could save their lives. These are available in every smart phone cover I have to offer, also keychains and stickers to put on the dash, don’t wait and wish you would have gotten your loved one, one later…. IT COULD BE TOO LATE
Dash stickers only $4.99 , over 11,000 deaths in 2012 from just the USA were caused by Texting While Driving
10.136 deaths caused by drinking and driving in the USA in 2012
It’s time for us to warn, educate our loved ones so that they do not become a statistic
Keychains only $11.99 , This could be the best investment you will ever make
1.3 million crashes were caused by the use of cell phones in 2012

/ June 19, 2013Reblogged this on clever nicknames and commented:
Again, unless you are sitting in the back seat of a limo–your instant need/gratification for information is NOT that important. Put the device down and concentrate on driving.

/ June 19, 2013This is one that can not be overemphasized. Before I came back from the Philippines (2002), texting/talking on the cell while driving had already been banned.
(Reputedly 95% of cellphone use was attributed to them. In fact, one young man had advised ME to get one when no one else HAD one. (I’m not exaggerating.)
That’s one thing that makes me glad I don’t have kids. I could never live with myself if that happened to one of mine. (Although I don’t condone this attitude. To forgive is a virtue.)

/ June 19, 2013I agree there’s already too many distractions on the road as is why add to it? I am sorry that you have lost friends to this.

/ June 19, 2013Thank you Melinda, I have been guilty myself of texting while driving, I have one of the stickers on my dash to remind me not to text and drive, it does work ( its like breaking a bad habit )

/ June 19, 2013The case is not meant to be an added distraction but a reminded to leave it alone while driving, Thank You Stephanie

/ June 19, 2013Indeed, if one wants to make a text or a call, they should just pull over into a less busy street and make the text/call. Furthermore, handsfree is not a solution to driving and interacting with the phone – when it comes down to it, it is an added distraction.
Furthermore, your point ties hand-in-hand with people who have their ears plugged into their iPods or fiddling with their smartphones when they cross the zebra crossings.
