Thank You Unfinishedxtian, It is on Textured Acid free paper, this piece is a mini of a larger I plan to do, I sometimes do mini paintings on paper before I do them on canvas so that I can make changes when I do the canvas painting.
Thank You so very much Tanya, This was inspired by “Lady Of Shalott” my thought on this was to bring an old myth into a modern world and modern style art
I wanted to keep The lady and boat close to the same but change up the over all feel of the painting, the story in my opinion is of a darker age and I wanted to bring a brighter feel to the piece. The challenge was to not copy the original but yet keep with the story and make the painting recognizable
