  2. is it hand-made paper? or textured to resemble canvas? this is beautiful work. love the rich colors.

  3. Thank You Unfinishedxtian, It is on Textured Acid free paper, this piece is a mini of a larger I plan to do, I sometimes do mini paintings on paper before I do them on canvas so that I can make changes when I do the canvas painting.

  4. Thank You so very much Sondasmcschatter

  5. This is my favorite painting that you have posted. For some reason she makes me think of Ophelia from Hamlet. This is amazing.

  6. Thank You so very much Tanya, This was inspired by “Lady Of Shalott” my thought on this was to bring an old myth into a modern world and modern style art

  7. oh…I just looked that up and wow! It is lovely.

  8. I wanted to keep The lady and boat close to the same but change up the over all feel of the painting, the story in my opinion is of a darker age and I wanted to bring a brighter feel to the piece. The challenge was to not copy the original but yet keep with the story and make the painting recognizable

  9. I love, love, love this piece!!! It’s gorgeous! As soon as I saw it, it made me think of “Lady of Shallot”. 🙂

  10. Thank You so very much heavenandearth, Lady Of Shallot is such a spectacular story 🙂
